Library League : This group was formed when the county was faced with a budget shortfall that would have had a negative impact on the operation of the county library. Our mission is simple-to raise money to donate to the library. All the money we raise, is donated to the library. We have 4 major fundraisers a year: spring mailing, April Book Fair, October Book Fair, and Christmas Cookie Exchange. With the generous support of the community, we have been able to donate around $6000 a year -with some years as high as $8000!

Central Plains Arts Council: The mission and purpose of the Central Plains Arts Council is to give area residents opportunities to take part in cultural events by providing funding for artists in residence and children's theater for school-age children; by providing a venue for local talent in music, visual arts, and community theater; by providing a scholarship annually to a high school senior with interest in the arts; and by providing opportunities for all ages to enjoy various facets of the arts.

Hand County Historical Society : An organization which works to identify and safeguard items of historical interest in Hand County. They also fund the operation of the McWhorter House Museum and Depot.
